If the explanation of North Carolina hip hop was to broken down it would be by naming a hand full of MCs that originated in each of the scattered cities and counties that create the Cardinal state.  One of the best out of the few would be B.C.P x KemoSabe. The artist, song writer and producer, from Durham North Carolina began writing poetry at age 13, and became more influenced by a burnt CD of Little Brother’s Chitlin Circuit at age 17.  Inspired, B.C.P decided to pursue music with just editing and looping his favorite songs on Cool Edit Pro and recording it with a Radio Shack microphone. Producing only 3 years with the combine creative skills to MC, KemoSabe is able to give the music world an organic experience inside of the Hip Hop realm. With elements of 9th Wonder for sampling and the North Cack cadence of Phonte and Big Pooh, Kemosabe wants to be a positive & true individual for all of his listeners.
