Khiry Bivins also known as “Sk8tie” was born and raised in Jacksonville, Fl. At the age of 15 he began to hang around his older brother, while hanging with his brother he started to fall in love with music. Rashad noticed Sk8tie‘s love for music and like any great brother he began to show him the ropes of the business. This allowed Sk8tie to tag along and observed the surroundings of his brothers hardest work. A year later Sk8tie met up with another local artist, they became close friends and decided to start a group, They made their first record together titled, which surprised the group because the song began to become popular quickly. The feedback they were getting was amazing so they immediately started on the next project but this time changing their names
A few years later the group began to change their name again to appeal more to their age, this name change was to represent the styles of both artist. Like all things the group came to an end when his group member had to move away. This forced Sk8tie to show his true potential and become the artist he is today. Since then he has done multiple music videos that has aired on TV in consistent rotation, shows across the country, performed in front of Jordan Davis parents at the Jordan Davis/Trayvon Martin special event that was hosted by 93.3 radio station, recorded hot singles and radio interviews for stations like FULLBLOWN RADIO.
